With another month until Premier League action kicks off for the 2025/26 season, we thought we’d take a look at some of the best ways to get your football fix this summer. Hopefully seeing some of the club and international action this summer will get you in the mood to don your football training top!

Premier League Summer Series

The Premier League Summer Series is an opportunity to see some of your favourite teams in action during the break without quite as much pressure riding on the results. In total, four clubs travel to the US to play each other across six matches.

Of course, the idea is to boost support for Premier League teams in the US, but that doesn’t mean fans at home won’t enjoy watching the matches too.

This year, Manchester United, West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth have travelled stateside to play against one another. The final matches in the series will be held on 3 August, with Bournemouth playing West Ham while Manchester United take on Everton.

UEFA Women’s Euros 2025

England’s women are hoping to repeat their triumph of four years ago and bring the Euros trophy home once again. The tournament has featured some nail-biting matches so far, including England’s quarter final with Sweden which went to penalties.

The Lionesses took the match from the spot kicks though and are set to play Italy in their semi-final match on 22 July. Whatever happens, as football fans we’re in for a treat with Europe’s top teams in excellent form.

Make sure you clear your calendar on 27 July to watch the Euros final and let’s hope that the Lionesses are one of the teams in contention to lift the trophy.

UEFA Super Cup

Not long before the Premier League gets underway for the new season, we have the UEFA Super Cup final to look forward to. This match will kick off on 13 August, with Paris’ PSG taking on England’s Tottenham at the Stadio Fruli in Udine, Italy.

Previous winners of this trophy include Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool and Anderlecht. Neither Tottenham or PSG have previously won this tournament, so there will be a new name on the trophy regardless of who wins in August.
