Get the Best Match Balls For Your Football Club’s Games
Whatever level your club plays at, getting the best football match balls can help maximise the quality of play and help ensure a good game for players and spectators alike.
Of course, the balls you play with may not be identical to the sponsored versions used in the leading competitions in world club and international football, but you can still enjoy the quality on offer from the top manufacturers, like Adidas, who make the Tiro match ball.
Another Adidas match ball has just made its first appearance in the group stage of the Champions League, with two versions being designed for the 2025-26 season, one for the men’s competitions and one for the women. Each features images related to the skies above the cities where the finals will be hosted, Budapest for the men and Oslo for the women.
The first week of men’s group stage action has already produced some dramatic games and big stories.
Perhaps the most spectacular game was the 4-4 draw between Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, who met in the 1997 final, while last year’s winners Paris Saint-Germain crushed Atalanta 4-0.
The record six English clubs had a mixed week in the competition. Arsenal won 2-0 away to Athletic Bilbao, Tottenham beat Villareal 1-0 and Liverpool made it a hat-trick of English wins over Spanish teams when they scored yet another late winner to see off Atletico Madrid 3-2 at Anfield.
Manchester City also won, beating Napoli 2-0, with Erling Haaland scoring his 50th goal in the competition in just his 49th appearance.
Newcastle were hoping to make it four Premier League wins from four against La Liga, but Barcelona thwarted them, ironically through an Englishman, as Marcus Rashford, on loan from Manchester United, scored both their goals in a 2-1 win at St James’ Park.
Chelsea were also beaten thanks to a brace by an Englishman, with Harry Kane netting twice as Bayern Munich prevailed 3-1 in Bavaria.
Your club or league may not have the same profile as the Champions League, but with high-quality match balls and lots of passion, you can still have some great stories this season.
