Essential Football Equipment For Each Team

Most children’s football teams took a break over the summer holidays, but it will soon be time to start gearing up for the new season. This means coaches should begin thinking about what equipment they need to stock up on before the kids arrive.

New training bibs

Every season, training bibs seem to disappear, despite best efforts to keep them together. So, make sure you do a count before the first session to see if you have enough for all the team members or if you need to buy any more.

Cones

Cones are one of the most important pieces of equipment for a football coach as there are plenty of activities you can set up simply by laying out some cones. This will help improve their speed and agility, necessary for upcoming matches.

Ball net

There’s nothing more annoying than having to carry lots of balls at once, as one-by-one they slip out of your arms. So, make sure you have a good-quality net that can hold as many balls as you typically need. You can get ones that hold just three balls, while bigger teams will need a mesh for 20 balls.

Mannequins

If you want your players to get more practice manoeuvring around or shooting at human-sized objects, why not buy mannequins? These allow your team to experience tackling large obstacle or try their hand at scoring a goal over things that are tall.
